At Clipbush Park in harsh winds
After colossal rain,
Two sides - both with perfect starts
Would, three points, try to gain.
Pink Boots for the Wanderers
A unit, strong on ball
Tried to open up the Ghosts,
But defence: one brick wall!
Fakenham then took control,
A Franks strike clipped the bar,
Shots were fired - frequently,
Most of them from afar.
On twenty-two the breakthrough
Came from Alby's low ball,
Causing panic in defence
That - in the net - would trawl!
An own goal, deserved lead though,
And super Callum Brain,
As he does so often, drove
Defenders mad! Insane!
On restart, the visitors
Stepped up gears: quite a few;
After Mrozek nodded back
Tom Driscoll's fierce strike flew -
Past Tom Coombe to equalise,
But then the closest shave:
Ipswich went through - one on one...
Coombe made a top-class save!
Both sides could have nicked the win
Jarv went close for the hosts;
It's now ten points from four games
For Norfolk's super Ghosts!
